We are on Watford high street opposite Superdrug & Santander (next to the old TJ Hughes/Clements building). The Spa is above Presence gift shop (The spa entrance is clearly seen just past the gift shop tills). Please click here to see a map.
The closest car park is The Gade or Sutton, which has an all-day fee of around £5. Also the Harlequin’s Charter Place car park is nearby.
We are walking distance from Watford High Street rail station (metropolitan line 0.6 miles) & Watford Junction rail station (over ground to Euston 0.5 miles). Appointments after 6pm (on Thursdays or Fridays) require you to use the rear entrance which is accessed at the end of “The Barn” in Watford House Lane, directly opposite Watford Palace Theatre. Please phone The Spa reception team on 01923 237869 and they will be happy to book you in and help you with any enquiries you may have. You can also send a treatment booking request via email from our treatments menu online, just follow the simple steps once you have found the treatment of your choice. The reception team will then contact you to confirm whether the request is available.
For Spa packages and bookings over £50 a 50% deposit is required to secure the booking.
We regret that those under 18 years old are not permitted in The Spa.
Your Time at The Spa..,
To get the most out of your time at the spa, we kindly ask that you please:
Arrive 10-15 minutes before your treatment to fill out a new client card (on your first visit) and to prepare for your spa experience. Please be aware that late arrivals may result in treatment time being reduced or loss of appointment slot with a charge for the treatment.
Please turn off your mobile phone before entering The Spa so that you can enjoy your treatment in a serene & peaceful environment.
If you need to change or cancel an appointment a 24 hour notice prior to treatment time is required. With less than 24 hours notice a charge of 50% of the initial booking will be required for the therapist time.
Gift vouchers for The Spa are available for any monetary value, treatment or Spa Day. Vouchers are available for purchase in The Spa, Presence Gift Shops (The Parade & Intu) or we can take over-the-phone payment and post them to you.
The term “voucher” refers to the gift receipt attached to the gift card. If the voucher is lost, tampered with or unreadable the voucher is void and no longer redeemable within The Spa. The voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase on the receipt, and once expired it cannot be extended. Vouchers are only redeemable in The Spa at Presence and for treatments and spa packages, they are only valid on the days stated: MW Mon-Wed, TS Thu-Sat, MS Mon-Sat).
Treatment Specific Vouchers
Treatment vouchers cannot be used towards any product purchase.
The Treatment Voucher will be forfeited if changes or cancellations are made with less than 24hrs notice.
No change is given from a treatment specific vouchers.
Where a purchased treatment is no longer available within the voucher redemption period an alternative treatment of equivalent value will be offered.
Monetary Value Vouchers
Monetary vouchers can be used towards product purchase.
Only 50% of the monetary value will be redeemed if changes or cancellations are made with less than 24hrs notice.
Change from monetary vouchers may be used towards next treatments but must be used by the expiry date.
Please let The Spa know when you book if you are pregnant or have any health issues that you think will affect you treatment. On arrival, new clients will be given a client card to state any contra-indications.
We do not recommend body treatments in the first 3 months of pregnancy. For more on our Mother-to-be treatments, please see the spa packages page.
Please do not consume alcohol before your treatment.
We do not recommend heat treatments after waxing.
There is a stair lift available.
